New feed‐in‐tariffs for PV in Greece

The Greek Ministry for Environment, Energy and Climate Change announced new feed-in tariffs for PV. As of February 1st, there is a further 5%‐12.5% one‐off decrease of tariffs on top of the digression foreseen by the previous legislation. See the new tariffs, and the related legislation.

In 2011, 426 new MWp were installed in Greece of PV in 2011, bringing the cumulative installed capacity to 631MWp. Greece ranks among the 10 top 10 countries as regards to newly installed PV capacity in 2011.
